RV Park and Camping
Stay with us at the historic Humboldt County Fairgrounds! The Humboldt County Fairgrounds RV Park is located within walking distance to the beautiful Victorian Village of Ferndale, CA. We are just minutes from Centerville Beach and only a short drive to California’s magnificent Lost Coast- a stunning coastline of unspoiled views. Our RV Park is surrounded by an idyllic pastoral landscape with redwood forests on the surrounding hills.
Camping Fees
Our RV park has over 60 spaces available with water and electrical hook-ups included. Please see the listing below for further information regarding all the options we have available. We offer dry camping in our carnival field for those who don't need hook-ups of any type.
Tent or "Dry" Camping
$24.64 per Night
Tent camping is generally limited to 3 days, Dry RV camping is limited to 25 days, and Car camping is limited to one night.
These sites are in our "Carnival Lot" and are not next to the RV spots nor are they in the parking lot. Password protected restrooms and hot showers are included.
Water, electricity, and septic dump are not included during this stay. If you wish to purchase water to refill your rig or use the dump station those will be at additional cost as listed below.
30 AMP Sites
$44.80 per Night
Our RV park has a 25 day limit for the 30 amp sites.
These sites are in the RV Park proper to the right of our parking lot upon arrival. Password protected restrooms and hot showers are included. Water, electricity, and septic dump are included with each space during your stay.
Please ask the Fair Business Office for directions to the dumpstation when you need it.
50 AMP Sites
$56.00 per Night
Our 50 amp RV spaces have limited availability due to events within our fairgrounds.
Reservations can be made through Campspot however availability of these spaces is more limited due to their location as event rentals may make the spots unavailable. Contact the Fair Business Office before making your reservation to confirm availability.
These sites are inside the fairgrounds along our "Midway." Password protected restrooms and hot showers are included. Water, electricity, and septic dump are included with each space during your stay. Please ask the Fair Business Office for directions to the dumpstation when you need it.
Hike / Bike Sites
$24.64 per Night
In a small section between two buildings and with a fence to the back, our hike/bike sites offer a bit more privacy and ensure that a spot is available to cyclists who trek the long ride into Ferndale.
Our Hike/Bike sites are only for first-come, first-serve hikers and bikers year-round, so reservations are unavailable without discussion with the Fair Business Office. This means that you will be able to pay for them at time of check-in if they are still available.
Additional Services
$10 per Service
Water, electric, and dumpstation access are including in our 30amp and 50amp sites, however you may purchase access to any of the 3 for $10 each if you chose to dry camp in our carnival lot or are simply passing through.
Reservations: At this time we will accept reservations via our affiliate Campspot. The full cost of your stay is due at the time of reservation, though adjustments can be made by contacting the Fair Business Office during business hours. We are unavailable for reservations during the annual Humboldt County Fair, this means for the month of August there will not be anything available. The carnival lot is only available on a first-come, first-serve basis after the seasonal rains begin. Our Hike/Bike sites are only for first-come, first-serve hikers and bikers year-round, so reservations are unavailable without discussion with the Fair Business Office. This means that you will be able to pay for them at time of check-in if they are still available.
Upgraded spaces: Any boondocking or dry camping in the 30 and 50amp sites are required to pay the cost of the site they wish to use for their stay.
Check-In and Check-Out: Check-in begins no earlier than 1:00 pm and Check-Out is at 12:00 pm. During business hours you can check in with our staff in the Fair Business Office and after hours you may use the self-check booth to the front and left of the office. All payments should be made through Campspot.
The Fair Business Office hours are Wednesday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. If you have made a reservation but don't anticipate making it to the campground before the end of the business day, please call our office so we can assist with any last minute details for your stay.
Our hot showers and restrooms are only available for paid campers.
