FFA, 4-H, and Independent youth are at the heart of the Junior Livestock Auction at the Humboldt County Fair. Come out and witness the culmination of a year’s worth of hard work for these young aspiring leaders who select, purchase, feed, and groom livestock to be judged and sold at the Fair. Their projects include steers, lambs, goats, hogs, and rabbits. We are very proud of our youth and invite you to meet them at this year’s Fair.

Buyer Payments:

Outstanding invoices will be mailed the week of August 25th.

Add-On Bids:

Want to support a seller in the sale and not buy an animal? Consider providing an add-on bid. Add-on bids can be placed by utilizing the Add-On Form or Online following the Auction.

• 1:00 PM – Auction begins in the Livestock Arena.

Buyer Registration: 

• If you have registered in the past you can pick up your bidder cards at the registration table beginning at 10:00 AM on sale day.

  • If you purchased an animal last year, you should receive your buyer packet in the mail.​​

• New buyers may pre-register prior to the auction at the link below
