Violin On Fire

An electrifying project of Patrick Contreras, blending Latin fusion, rock, and classical into a high-energy spectacle. His explosive performances - from fiery Santana-inspired anthems to cinematic showstoppers - have captivated audiences at major festivals and theaters across the West Coast.
With a sound as bold as it is virtuosic, Violin on Fire delivers an unforgettable concert experience. Shows daily.
JD Platt & the K9 Kings Flying Dog Show

Get ready for an exhilarating, high-flying adventure with trainer J.D. Platt and The K9 Kings Flying Dog Show. Each action-packed performance includes eight talented dogs displaying heart stopping aerial tricks, obedience, crowd participation and high-energy paws-itively amazing fun.
Watch in awe as a team of skilled rescue/shelter dogs leap, soar and defy gravity in a dazzling array of athletic routines. It’s a whole lot of tail-wagging action that will leave everyone barking for more and definetly don’t forget to come visit after the show, the world’s largest meet greet and pet area.

Sea Lion Splash

The only travleing, self-contained Sea Lion attraction! See these ocean creatures dance, perform tricks, and smile for the camera.

Captain Tall Tale

Captain Tall Tale is an 8'3" adventuring entertainer who believes every day is an opportunity for adventure. With a playful spirit, quick wit, and a gift for connecting with children and families, the Captain transforms ordinary moments into unforgettable memories.
Through interactive comedy, circus skills, and playful dance moves, Captain Tall Tale invites children and families to laugh, play, and step into the adventure together. Every encounter is unique, bringing families closer through shared experiences and genuine connections that leave guests smiling long after the day is over. Shows daily.
Mermaid Cove

Ahoy there! You can't miss out on the Mermaid Cove at the Humboldt County Fair this year. Take your picture with beautiful sea creatures and bring home fond memories of a whimsical ocean world. Daily performances outside of the Hindley Hall vendor building.

NVSKY Productions is here to turn up the volume on Humboldt's nightlife! Nevada Gomes founded the company at just 21 years old, driven by a desire to create meaningful third spaces that embody connection, community, and celebration. With several sold-out events under her belt, her Siren's Tavern event under the Grandstands is going to be one for the books. Join us, dance, and bring your friends to the Fair on Thursday, August 13th, 7PM-10PM for an unforgettable night!
Red Hot Shame

RED HOT SHAME is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Xeff Scolari with frequent collaborators Steven Pitsenbarger (vocals, percussion), Ryan Wilson (guitar), Spencer Kennedy (bass), Rick Fugate (drums), and James Terris (keys) Together they are a creative force that make performances feel like a wild ride - anything can happen at any moment, turning the band's live shows into can't miss events.

Matthew Wallace and the Flying Saucers

Texas-born, Eureka based songwriter, Matthew Wallace, blurs a southern rock and soulful blues style with an energetic and psychedelic groove. His backing band, The Flying Saucers, are comprised of two stalwarts of the Humboldt Scene. Eddie Mitchell on drums and Scotty "rock 'n roll" Robertson on bass; they are the engine that keeps audiences scootin' their boots and tappin' their toes. A veteran of many Trinity County Fairs, Matthew Wallace is excited to make his Humboldt County Fair debut.

Good Enuff

Good Enuff is a fun, local cover band that is sure to make you get up and dance. With beloved classics and groovy deep cuts, they're set to dazzle audiences during their Fair perfomance on Friday, August 14th.
The Starhoppers

The Starhoppers play space-themed surf music including classic surf hits that will transport you back to the beach and scorching originals that will blast you right out of this world on a sonic adventure!
The Starhoppers are Josh Kieselhorst - space drums, Paul Beatie - treble guitar, and Ross Rowley - bass guitar
When The Starhoppers aren’t gallivanting around the cosmos they make their Earth-base behind the redwood curtain in Northern California and rehearse regularly in a super-secret rocket assembly building.
A trio of musical hitchhikers on a journey through the cosmos exploring the ancient soul of rock n roll.
Catch them at the Shell-ebration on Friday, August 14th in the Grandstands.
Swing Dancing with Bootscootin Contessa

Contessa returns to the Grandstands after her STAMPEDE debut to guide us in Swing Dancing under the Grandstands in conjunction with Friday, August 14th's Shell-ebration event! Grab your partner, wear your finest shoes, and get ready to dance.
Pinewood Tractor Derby

Meg Ruiz

Meg Ruiz sets the Livestock Area alight with special acoustic performances on Sunday, August 16th, in conjunction with Livestock Barbecue!
Antique Tractors

See incredible Antique Tractors in action daily at the Livestock field August 12th - 16th!
Chainsaw Carving

Watch as logs come to life as Mark Colp chisels away with a chainsaw, revealing an incredible wooden sculpture.
His favorite themes are animal wildlife, marine life, nautical themes, and bears. What will you see at the Humboldt County Fair?

Saddle up and get ready for hours of non-stop action in the Grandstands at the Outlaw Rodeo. Experience Humboldt's first college rodeo on Saturday, August 15th at 2PM. Grab your ticket to witness this incredible event and the 2nd Annual Live at the Humboldt County Fair concert to follow.

The perfect band to follow Outlaw Rodeo! Justin Lawrence is a professional saddle bronc rider and country music singer. In High School and Junior Rodeo, he showed cutting horses, steer wrestled, calf roped, team roped, and rode broncs. At night, after the events, he'd play for everyone while sitting around the trailers. His Live at the Humboldt County Fair performance will be a nostalgic and exciting experience for all attending. From the saddle to the stage, Justin Lawrence proves his talent over and over again. Saturday, August 15th.

Closing out our Grandstands Saturday entertainment lineup! Flat River Band consists of three brothers Andy, Chad and Dennijo Sitze, who grew up in a multi-generational family band. With an energetic presence and the playful fun only brothers can have, FRB is ready to take your breath away during their Live at the Humboldt County Fair show on Saturday, August 15th.
