To save on costs, the Fair Business Office has limited hours during the quiet season. Right now we are open Wednesday - Friday from 9:00am to 4:00 pm and we can coordinate appointments for times outside of this as we are able. Email us at frontdesk@humbodltcountyfair.org anytime to get assistance as soon as we are available.

The Humboldt County Fair is an annual event that historically occurs in mid to late August. When the Fair is open, the gates open at 12:00 pm and admission sales stop at 8:00 pm. Hindley Hall generally closes at 8:00 pm as well as our static exhibit halls. The carnival an exterior vendors may chose to remain open later if there are still community members about and the carnival tries their best to accommodate our late night guests. The grounds are closed by 10:00 pm but may close earlier if all vendors and the carnival close down due to lack of attendance.

We offer admission tickets through our partner, Etix! There are links to their page on our homepage as well as on our social media. You can also come into the Fair Business Office prior to the Fair's open date to purchase tickets with cash or check and save on those pesky credit card fees.

We will provide any who qualifies for our vendor parking lot access to this ahead of time by granting them a parking pass specific to that lot. Admission will be taken care of in a similar manner. In order to not be directed to pay admission you need to speak with the Fair Business Office prior to current Fair dates to prevent any confusion.

We offer online booking and reservations now with our partner, CampSpot! The link is on our home page as well as our RV and Camping page. The site offers a map that makes it easy to pick the site you want for the times you need.

It depends. Historically our campground has been reserved for the vendors and entertainment that come from out of the area to make our Fair happen. For the 2025 Fair we actually anticipate having several spots available, but they will not be open for reservation until we know for certain that our vendors all have a space to stay.
